⚙ About ProEngCalc

Built for Engineers,
by Engineers

ProEngCalc exists because most online engineering calculators are built for web developers, not engineers. We're changing that — one calculator at a time.

Our Mission

"Every engineer deserves professional-grade calculation tools that show their work, cite their sources, and tell them when to be careful. ProEngCalc is that tool — free, forever."

Most online calculators give you an answer with no context, no formula, no unit check, and no indication of when the result doesn't apply to your situation. That's not how engineering works. When you put a calculation in a design package, a report, or a submittal, you need to know where the numbers come from — and so does everyone who reviews your work.

ProEngCalc was built to fill that gap. Every calculator we build includes a complete step-by-step solution breakdown, a formula reference with the standard or textbook source, clearly stated assumptions and limits, input validation with engineering-specific warnings, and support for both Imperial and SI units.

What Makes ProEngCalc Different

📐
Show Your Work
Every calculation shows a complete step-by-step solution breakdown — not just an answer. Engineers need to verify, document, and explain results.
📋
Standards Referenced
Formulas cite IEEE, ASME, NEC, AISC, AGMA, and ACI standards. You always know where the math comes from and when it applies.
Assumptions & Limits
Every calculator clearly states when NOT to use it. No other engineering calculator site does this consistently. We do it because it matters.
🔄
Imperial & SI
Toggle between unit systems instantly. Input validation catches errors before they become expensive mistakes in the field or on paper.
🔒
No Account Required
Every calculator is free and accessible without signing up. Professional tools should be accessible to every engineer — not locked behind a login wall.
Fast & Reliable
Calculators run entirely in your browser. No server round trips, no loading spinners, no downtime. Results are instant, every time.

Where We're Headed

ProEngCalc launched in 2026 with a focused set of core calculators covering electrical, mechanical, fluid, and structural engineering. Our roadmap is built around what working engineers actually need — not what's easiest to build.

Q1
Foundation — 9 Calculators Live
Ohm's Law, Voltage Divider, Wire Gauge, Horsepower & Torque, Unit Converter, Beam Deflection, Reynolds Number, Gear Ratio, Pipe Flow & Pressure Drop.
Q2
Expansion — 20+ Calculators
